Show Was A Financial Disaster

Ticket sales for this show were abysmal and the show was often in the bottom three of Broadway shows in terms of popularity (often making only $270K per week - with operating costs of over $500K). The average ticket price for this show also hovered around $60, but many tickets were given out for free, which dragged the number down even further. Most weeks only half of the theatre actually had butts in seats. The show was never able to get a footing on Broadway.
