What's You Can't Take It With You Like?
When the play begins, a young man named Tony Kirby brings his parents to dine at the home of a girl with whom he has fallen in love, Alice Sycamore (Rose Byrne). The evening goes abominably at first, as the Kirbys are thrown off by the cheap food they are offered, and Alice is convinced that Tony is not the man for her. As the play continues, Alice is led to reconsider, as it becomes clear that both families are a bit crazy.

You Can't Take It With You on Broadway Background
Since its Broadway debut, You Can't Take It With You has enjoyed four revivals, and this will be its fifth. Starring James Earl Jones as Grandpa Martin Vanderhof, the cast also includes Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots), and Rose Byrne making her Broadway debut. The play encompasses a very large cast, and it has been an audience favorite for many decades. With this impressive cast, this production is sure to be very entertaining.
