South Street Seaport TKTS Ticket Booth Address:
The South Street Seaport TKTS ticket booth is located on Front street, between John and Fulton Street, but close to the corner of John Street. The ticket office door is in the pedestrianized part of Front Street and shares its frontage with many restaurants and stores. This location is close to the Prudential Building at 199 Water Street, making it a favorite of workers located in the Wall Street financial area. The official TDF booth address is:

The Length Of The Lines At This Booth:
The South Street Seaport TKTS location does not have long lines. They usually have only one ticket agent open, but the wait at this booth is rarely longer than 15 minutes. This booth opens much earlier than the Times Square location, so it is busier at its opening, with two agents on the ticket windows, but then calms down an hour later. The South Street Seaport TKTS booth is the choice for financial types that work in the Wall Street area and can take a subway or cab uptown to the Broadway theatre district.
Buying Tickets At The South Street Seaport TKTS Booth
There is a purchase limit of six tickets per person at this TKTS booth. This is a per-person, per day limit, that is strictly enforce by the security guards that are stationed there. Often the security detail employed there can be heavy-handed.
Weather Considerations At This Booth
Depending on how long the line is (Usually its quite short at the Seaport) the line for this ticket booth is inside a lobby, so the the red shirt representatives will let you stand inside in extreme hot and cold weather. If it rains, they will cram in as many people as they can. The ticket office lobby inside can accommodate about 25 people, so its always wise to go there in off-peak times, if you want to wait in the comfort of a climate controlled area, that is protected from the elements. These helpers will help you choose the right show for you, advise you about ticket availability and pricing, manage the line, make recommendations and steer you in the right direction on anything to do with Broadway and seeing the shows. The TDF TKTS Fast Pass
The TDF TKTS Fast Pass allows TKTS patrons to return to the South Street ticket booth within 7 days of their TKTS purchase and walk right up to window #1 with their TKTS ticket stub, thereby avoiding any line. As the lines at the Seaport booth are not very long, it seems pointless to cut the line at this booth, but people still do.
Hawkers, Pitchers and Other Distractions at The South Street Seaport TDF TKTS Booth
As the booth is located in the financial area, there are very few tourists at this booth. Ticket buyers are not accosted by hawkers like they are at the Times Square location. There are however, some great restaurants and some great high, high-end food trucks littered on Front Street, that are a wonderful distraction and should not be missed.

By Bus: Take M15 downtown on 2nd Avenue to South Street Seaport

Due to its proximity to Wall Street and the rest of the financial area in downtown Manhattan, the South Street Seaport location is often crowded and difficult to find parking on the street. Making matters worse, the TKTS booth is actually on Front Street, which is a pedestrianized street, not allowing any vehicles in. In New York City, the subway is the ideal way to get around, but the South Street Seaport area does not have subway stations that far East and the nearest one is at Fulton Street, some 7 blocks away.
